The ongoing hunger crisis has put millions of children’s lives on the line. In South Carolina alone, the volatile behavior of young children due to hunger has become quite worrisome. Hundreds of our children start their weeks with grumpy, sluggish attitudes and zero motivation to learn! How can they, when they’re hungry?

Help 4 Kids Florance’s goal is to make these kids’ lives better by providing food packets to Florence County’s elementary schools. Every Friday, bags filled with food are sent home with children who are at risk of going hungry over the weekend, giving them enough to keep them well fed. Our aim is for these children to show up at school on Monday well-rested, fed, and eager to learn.
